We have stayed home the last few days. All three of us are sick. This is the first time that all of us got sick at the same time. It is awful. But on the bright side, we should get over this at the same time too. Hopefully. The little man brought this all to us although we don’t know where he got it from. He started having fever which was accompanied with throwing up and lasted 24 hours. After that, the cough started and a day later the husband and I started feeling bad. Now we are all hacking like there is something wrong with our lungs. Nasty! But we have to deal with it. I have had the humidifier on constantly to help with the congestion. The adults are complaining much but the little man is being a trooper, all energy and sunny disposition. The wonders of youth. The husband went to the doctor yesterday and he was given antibiotics and nasal spray which he used yesterday. I also bought a nasal spray for me which I did not care very much. I hope we all will feel better soon. We look awful and we feel awful. This is when I start thinking about our mortality. It is morbid I know but I have been thinking about that lately. It even prompted me to search for term life insurance rates but I realized belatedly that we can’t afford to pay premiums for that yet. I may need to do something to divert my attention instead of thinking about negative stuff. The husband said when we get over this spell we will feel better and it will be fine. I sure hope so. It has been days.
