I woke up this morning with somebody breathing on my face. That somebody turned out to be the little man. I thought I was dreaming but the breathing seemed to be real which it was, lol. He woke up at six and instead of physically waking me up, he stood there on my side of the bed willing me to wake up. I did not have the heart to deny him so I got up. I gave him a cup of milk like I normally do in the mornings and we stayed in the living room, him watching tv while I was reading a book. The husband woke up looking for us and laughed when I told him what his son did. We sure started the day early today. I hope it will be a fruitful one

wake up!
careless?
Ever since we moved in to this duplex over a year ago, we have used a lot of light bulbs, it is unreal. I think the wires are defective. Or could it be the switch? We have not bothered the landlady about it because it is just a minor problem after all. What we do is we just go to the store and buy light bulbs and make sure we have a few extra just in case. The light always goes off when I am the one turning the switch on. Could there be something wrong with me? Lol. The husband just shakes his head in wonder every time it happens. I can’t help it. It must be the way I turn the switch on because sometimes I slam it especially when I am in a hurry. At least light bulbs are not that expensive so it is not much of a problem.
violin!
For some reason, the little man is fixated on musical instruments at the moment. He plays with his guitar everyday, he messes with his toy piano. Just recently, he pairs his guitar with a plastic baseball bat and calls it a violin. He even sleeps with the violin and I can’t get it until he is sound asleep or else there will be war. He is very creative. He finds toys in his box and pretends the toy was something else. I am amazed at his creativity and imagination. I hope he will continue to be like this when he grows up.
security?
If you are thinking of securing yours and your family’s future and is in the process of looking for life insurance, then you do not need to look far. As a habit I have acquired since I have nothing better to do got married and stayed home to take care of my son, is to get online any chance I get to search on just about anything. Since I can’t be out of the house unless I need to I have to update myself with what is going on around me. I am not a recluse, far from it but sometimes we have to stick to our priorities which by the way is getting me away from the topic I started. Back to the point, if you are looking for life insurance, you can compare life insurance quotes here and see what suits you or your budget or your plan. Things work differently for us and as I have said, we have priorities. I hope you will find what you are looking for. The husband and I decided to go another way to secure our future which we laugh about because it does not seem like it is secure at the moment but that is another entry when I have more time to ponder over our choices and actions. For now I have to go and see what the little man is doing before his father yell at me for letting him mess up his things
terrible two
The little man has it really bad. The whining, the screaming, the rolling on the floor for special effects. I try so hard not to get annoyed but I can’t help it. The thing is, when he is done with his temper tantrum he acts like nothing happened. He becomes the sweet little boy and one would wonder where did that evil child go? That side of him he keeps hidden in public only to be unleashed in front of his parents. When we tell relatives how bad he could get they tell us we are liars. How is that so? He is so sweet. Look at him! Yeah, right. I can’t believe that at such an early age this little bundle of what we considered joy would be cunning. He is still a joy all right, when he is in his best behaviour. For now I am trying to ignore his outbursts so I will not lose my cool. I can be a child too when I start my thing
well baby check
We are scheduled to go to the little man’s pediatrician tomorrow afternoon for his well-baby check up. I hope he will cooperate with whoever will check him. He shies away from people when he does not like them on sight and he gets very difficult. He sure is picky for such a young age. We will know how much he has grown because we could not make him settle down to get his height. As for his weight, we know he is 28.2 lbs when he stepped on the weighing scale the other day yelling 18! when he saw the figures. He did it by himself and I was lucky I was there to see it. I have asked him several times to do it but since Mom asked him to he would not do it. He is very defiant and short tempered that the husband said he sees his father and mine in his little boy. What an explosive combination, lol. Anyway, I am hoping for the best of health for him.
it’s a rocket!
A few days ago I received a package. It was a night light I have been waiting for for the little man’s room. I have searched online and on stores for one because we don’t want him to sleep in the dark on his own. We can’t turn his bedroom light on because it will be offensive to the eye.
Anyway, I hurriedly opened the package with the little man peeking in and when he saw a rocket shaped night light he wanted to get it from me. I had to put it up until he calmed down. Whew! Who would have thought a night light will be that interesting? It was my fault though because I plugged it in and called him to see it and all hell broke lose after that, I’m afraid. My little bug could not resist the temptation of light and toy. He wanted to play with it.
I already plugged it in his room out of his reach and we all like it. I like the idea that it has a switch situated in the bottom so I don’t have to unplug it during the day, just turn the switch off. The design is perfect for a little boy his age as well. It goes well with the toys scattered in his room
Our search for kids nightlights is over. I have finally found the perfect night light for the little man’s room.

What little boy can resist a rocket?
like new
The computer I showed on one of my posts here (the one with writings courtesy of the little man) has been kept in the closet for almost a year because it got to where it loads very slow and the screen got dark. The husband and I have talked about a computer memory upgrade because I was not ready to let it go yet. I am attached to that laptop since it is my first which the husband purchased three years ago. I got it out the closet a week ago, deleted most of the pictures I downloaded in it and asked the stepson to fix the screen brightness which he did after just a few minutes and voila, the computer works like new. I was so happy that the problems I had with the computer got resolved. There are still lots of pictures in it that I need to delete but not until I made a third copy of those pictures on a disc. I have to be very careful this time. I don’t want to lose more pictures than we already did.
