The last few days I have been thinking about a pair of pumps I saw at the mall weeks ago. It was a light brown, peep-toe pumps and it was so cute. I wanted to buy it at the time since it was heavily discounted but I stopped myself because I don’t know where I will use it. Besides it has a 4-inch heels which pose a very great danger when you have to keep an eye on a three year old while wearing it in public. Believe me, a mere two inch shoes is not even safe, lol. But anyway, it does not stop me from ever longing thinking about that particular pair. It does not help that when I check online it is still available on my size. The husband said I should stop beating myself and go ahead and get it. I don’t know. I just might. If nothing else I can put it somewhere I can see it all the time just to satisfy my crazy self. Do you ever feel like this or is it just me? I know I don’t go crazy over purses and clothes but when it comes to shoes I can’t stop myself.

pretty pretty shoes
Shoes are my weakness. I melt when I see a lovely pair such as shown in the picture. I wanted to buy another pair with the same style but of different color but I had to stop myself. You see, I might not even wear this but I had to have it when I saw it in the rack. Fortunately that was the clearance rack so it was heavily discounted. I could have bought two brand new paperbacks and have something to read for two days for what I paid for this pair but I don’t have regrets. Even the little man loves it because he brought the shoes to me to wear the other day while we were just lounging in the living room. I have several pairs of shoes and sandals and boots that are still in the box waiting for me to use them. And I am still buying. Thank goodness for clearance and sales because then I can buy shoes cheap and satisfy my obsession.
on shoes
When we move to the Midwest, it will be a different winter altogether. I know for a fact that winters up there are harsher than here in the South. I still have my boots which the husband bought for me when we still lived in the Midwest but I might have to get another pair since I only have one. I am thinking about buying the much talked about Ugg shoes and see if it is as comfortable as advertised. I want comfort and warmth when choosing my boots because I get cold easily. At home on winter (even in summer when I think it is cold) I wear shoes if the socks are not working well. The husband made fun of me because of this habit but I would rather be made fun of than feel miserable. I still have to find the answer why I get cold easy but for now I will have to face the fact that we will move and that winter is just around the corner anymore. Hopefully the shoes will not fail me.
